Thomas is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicolas Mathon as Chief Technology Officer. Nicolas will lead our global product, engineering and science functions, helping to accelerate innovation across the Thomas platform and drive the delivery of AI-powered solutions for our customers.
With a strong background in software engineering and machine learning, Nicolas brings deep experience in connecting real customer needs with impactful product strategy. He previously co-founded and scaled an AI-driven SaaS retail platform, designing it to be open, flexible and developer-friendly – and enabling external data science teams to run their own algorithms in real time across a broad partner ecosystem.
Following the company’s acquisition by Attraqt (and later Crownpeak), Nicolas led major architectural work and helped drive global platform adoption. At Thomas, he’ll play a similarly central role in bringing our roadmap to life, ensuring fast, focused delivery and a seamless user experience.
“The opportunity to join Thomas at this moment felt incredibly compelling,” said Nicolas. “The platform already has a strong foundation and powerful psychological science, but what really inspired me was the unique vision for the business, and the roadmap for AI innovation. Helping managers better understand and support their people is something I care deeply about - it’s a challenge I’ve faced myself. This is a chance to build something transformative, by unifying people science and AI to deliver real value to businesses, managers, and colleagues in the flow of work. I’m excited to get started.”
Luke McKeever, CEO at Thomas, commented:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Nicolas to the leadership team. His technical expertise, strategic mindset and human-centred approach to innovation make him exactly the right person to lead Thomas's innovation journey. As we continue to evolve and scale our product offering, Nicolas will help ensure our technology delivers the clarity, connection and impact our customers are looking for.”
